Aztec Style Mexican Poncho – 2‑Sided Traditional Design Featuring a Mexico Eagle & on the other side an Aztec Warrier with Girl as Pictured Here. Can be worn either way. The one side features a Mexico eagle. The other side seems to be the legend of Popocatépetl, a brave Aztec warrior, and Iztaccíhuatl, the princess he loved. See the story following down below. This poncho is a one size fits most people. It would look great on the guys but even nicer on our lovely lady friends. 🌄 The Core Legend: Popocatépetl & Iztaccíhuatl. The story tells of Popocatépetl, a brave Aztec warrior, and Iztaccíhuatl, the princess he loved. Iztaccíhuatl was falsely told Popocatépetl died in battle, and she died of grief. When Popocatépetl returned victorious and found her dead, he carried her body to the mountains, hoping the cold would revive her. The gods transformed them into two mountains: Iztaccíhuatl → the “Sleeping Woman” & Popocatépetl → the active volcano standing guard over her.
